Preparing to Comply with the New Assisted Living Licensure Law – a Four-Part Workshop

The assisted living licensure law represents a significant and historic change in how assisted living is provide and regulated in Minnesota and goes into effect Aug. 1. There is much for providers and individuals to do to prepare for its implementation.
A four-part intensive workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the various new requirements with which Assisted Living providers will be expected to comply under the new licensure law. The workshop, offered in a virtual format in the mornings of May 26, 27 and July 13, 14, includes several topics, including an overview of laws, rules and types of licensure and 17 individual topics ranging from staffing and resident/family councils to contracts, physical site requirements, terminations and transitions and much more.
