MDH Multidrug-Resistant Organisms Webinar Series

Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) will host a series of webinars on multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs). Each interactive webinar will provide time for questions.
Nursing continuing education credits will be provided to those who attend the webinar.
Topics
Discussion and topic will vary by webinar and will include:
- The containment strategy
- Organism information
- Annual case counts
- Case studies
- Enhanced barrier precautions
- Discussions of MDRO screening
Who should attend?
The intended audience is congregate settings such as long-term care and assisted living, including infection preventionists, directors of nursing, and interested healthcare staff. Please share this with any staff or colleagues interested in attending.
Registration
Registration is required for each webinar. All webinars will take place using WebEx. When your registration is approved, you will receive an invitation to join the webinar, including meeting details, links, and information on participating by phone. Please reserve the phone audio for participants who cannot access audio via Webex.

- March 20, 3-4:30 p.m.: The March webinar will focus on carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE), carbapenemase-producing carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CP-CRE), and infection prevention and control measures for CRE and CP-CRE. Register for webinar
