BCA Access Remains, Funding Ends Sept. 10
Posted on August 18, 2021 by Jenna Kellerman
Funding for the Basic Care Aide and Paid Feeding Assistant Training programs will end on Friday, Sept. 10. Access to the training will remain available to members through EduCare until the 1135 waiver expires, which has no known expiration date at this time. Non-EduCare users may access programs for a fee by contacting Jennifer Anderson or calling 952-288-3800.
Want to plan to transition your BCAs into Registered Nursing Assistants before the end of the Waiver? Contact LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation's OnTrack team to learn how you can access online and on-demand nursing assistant training. We offer options for organizations with and without MDH-approved Nursing Assistant Training programs.
Thanks to the generous support of the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation and EduCare, the Basic Care Aide and expedited Paid Feeding Assistant training were available at no cost to LeadingAge Minnesota members for more than a year throughout the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, we have trained nearly 700 staff in Minnesota.
