Workforce Technology Playbook – Fingerprinting Equipment for Background Studies
Posted on February 1, 2024 by Julie Apold
The Fingerprinting Equipment for Background Studies Playbook is the fifth in a series of workforce technology solution playbooks designed to assist you in identifying technology solutions to help address the workforce crisis.
Fingerprinting-based background studies are a requirement for new hires entering the aging services workforce. Senior care employers can save time and improve the onboarding process if offered in-house. The playbook guides senior care communities interested in obtaining fingerprinting equipment to become either a private or public site to complete fingerprint-based background studies.
The playbook includes:
- Solution Matrix with critical feature comparisons for private or public site options
- General cost information and revenue opportunities
- Considerations for determining the cost/benefit of each solution
- Implementation strategies and lessons learned by sites using this solution
These technology resources are supported by the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation, a partner of LeadingAge Minnesota. The foundation uses grant dollars and tax-deductible contributions to support initiatives that transform and enhance the experience of aging.
