Waiver Reimagine: July 13 Webinar

Posted on June 24, 2020 by Bobbie Guidry

The Minnesota Department of Human Services will host a July 13 webinar to Waiver Reimagine, a process designed to make system-level improvements to Minnesota’s disability waiver programs.

The program includes Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) waivers. This process starts with amendments to each waiver, which will streamline available services across all four waivers.

These changes will make programs more understandable for people who receive services and allow for consistent policies and procedures for lead agencies and providers.

Register for a webinar on Monday, July 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, where DHS will give an overview of planned waiver amendments needed to streamline services; describe planned waiver amendments to align with the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Rule; and outline next steps in the process (i.e., public comment, stakeholder engagement and outreach).
