Tell Congress to Finish the Job
Posted on August 19, 2020 by Libbie Chapuran
Join providers across the Nation to call on Congress to provide immediate relief to aging services providers.
We are severely disappointed that Congress did not reach an agreement on the next COVID-19 relief package.
Aging services and housing providers continue to face extensive additional spending for PPE, cleaning supplies, testing, and additional staff to fight the pandemic. Without congressional action, providers across the country are being denied needed resources that will keep older people and the staff who serve them safe and alive.
We urge you to send a message to your members of Congress asking them to finish the job and #Act4OlderAdults! TAKE ACTION!
Furthermore, the Executive Orders issued by the President responding to expired coronavirus provisions do not address these essential needs.
For older adults and those who serve them, this pandemic is not over. Now your voice is needed to tell Congress to come back to work, finish this relief bill, and to include LeadingAge’s Essential Actions for aging services providers. Deliver Your Message Now
