Stars Among Us Award Nominations Open for 2022 Institute
Posted on July 14, 2021 by Barbara Landeen
The 2022 Stars Among Us Awards are open for nominating individuals and organizations through Sept. 12 in multiple categories, including the Caregiver of the Year, Outstanding Leadership, and the new Rising Star Award.
This year marks the return of LeadingAge Minnesota's long-standing awards program, which was suspended last year due to COVID-19. Instead, we recognized those who served with dedication during the pandemic.
“There is no doubt that the past year and a half have been overwhelmingly challenging for our staff and residents in senior living communities,” said Jennifer Rutschke of Ebenezer Park Apartments and Chair of the Awards & Recognition Committee. “But we have also seen the best of human spirit and resiliency. The Stars Among Us Awards celebrate what is good and meaningful in our work.”
We invite all our member organizations to submit nominations for your staff, volunteers, and residents, as well as your performance improvement and Safe Care for Seniors initiatives. “The 2022 Institute is going to be an exceptional celebration of our Stars Among Us Award recipients,” said Rutschke.
Nominations are being accepted through Monday, Sept. 12, and award recipients will be honored at the 2022 Institute & Expo, Feb. 9–11 in St. Paul. Click here for a complete list of awards and nomination details.
