Seeking Member-at-Large for 2019 Nominating Committee
Posted on August 14, 2018 by Nancy Garrett
Do you want to help identify and recruit future LeadingAge Minnesota board members? If you are a LeadingAge Minnesota voting member and are interested in standing for election to next year’s Nominating Committee, contact Nancy Garrett no later than Friday, Aug. 31.
The Nominating Committee prepares a slate of candidates for open board positions each year, meeting two to three times between July and September.
Members of the committee include the Immediate Past Board Chair, who serves as the Nominating Committee Chair, one board member emeritus who is active in the field, three board members who collectively represent a diversity of perspectives reflective of our membership, and one at-large LeadingAge Minnesota non-board member who is elected by the membership at the Annual Business Meeting in September.
Pursuant to LeadingAge Minnesota bylaws, no member of the Nominating Committee is eligible for nomination to the board.
