Save the Dates: MDH Hosts Basic Training for New MDS Nurses

The Licensing and Certification Program at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has released the 2019 training schedule dates for their free, one-day Basic Training for New MDS Nurses class.
The class is designed for new MDS nurses with less than one year of experience. It features a review of the most common MDS coding errors, OBRA and PPS Assessment Scheduling Requirements, and overview of the CAA process.
Space is limited to 70 registrations. Each setting may send up to two participants.
The training class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The 2019 dates:
March 20
June 12
Sept. 18
Dec. 11
Registration begins two weeks prior to class date. Registration information will be shared as it becomes available.
