LeadingAge Minnesota members operating in rural Minnesota can now access a second round of COVID-19 related grants through LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation (LAMF).
- Through its COVID-19 Courage Funds Grant Program, LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation is opening a second grant application round to help rural members support staff during the historic COVID-19 pandemic. For staff support funds, LAMF is offering grants of up to $10,000 for each awarded site. These applications can be for existing or new staff support programs that provide cash assistance and/or mental health support for staff of LeadingAge Minnesota senior care provider members across settings including assisted living, care centers, home care, and adult day programs. New in this round of grants is the ability to fund staff recognition for dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, review the Round 2 – COVID-19 Courage Funds Grant Program Request for Proposal.
- For Adult Day providers, LAMF is distributing grants of up to $10,000 through its COVID-19 Adult Day Services Virtual Visits & Support Grant Program. For more information, review the Round 2 - COVID-19 Adult Day Services Virtual Visits & Support Grant Program Request for Proposal.
To be eligible, sites must be outside of the 7-county metro area per guidelines from the regional foundation that awarded LAMF these grant funds.
Applications for the Courage Fund and Adult Day Services Virtual Visits & Support can be found at the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation online grant and application portal. The deadline to submit applications for both programs is March 24 at 5 p.m.
