Reflexive COVID-19 Testing Opportunities for Congregate Settings
Posted on October 28, 2021 by Roni Falck
The Midwest Coordination Center, in partnership with U.S. Health and Human Services Department is rolling out a free, federally funded COVID-19 reflexive testing program for congregate setting, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and adult day services.
Enrolled providers will be connected with testing services at trusted labs to screen staff and clients, allowing facilities to detect the virus promptly and act quickly to keep everyone safe. Self-swabbing used for PCR tests will be sent to the lab at whatever frequency the organization chooses. Increased screening through this program helps communities rapidly address outbreaks and control the spread of the virus.
General information about this federal program can be found here: To enroll in the program and for additional information, contact Maria Konrath, MCC Minnesota Liaison at 614-424-3871 or konrath@testedandprotected.org.
