President’s Message: Embrace Change - New Year. New Opportunity.
Posted on January 14, 2020 by Gayle Kvenvold
There has never been a more dynamic and exciting time in the field of aging services. Together we are shaping the next generation of older adult services and, for all the challenges that will entail, it will be an amazing era of creativity – one fueled by the power of the professional and personal relationships we build with one another.
Last week I shared a message on our state’s vision for an Age-Friendly Minnesota and its alignment with our association’s strategy that builds on the momentum we achieved last year in key areas – quality and safety, workforce, managed care, and advocacy - and defines outcomes we will achieve in the next three to five years. If you missed this message, read Embrace Change: New Year. New Opportunity.
We look forward to the work we will do together in the year ahead and sharing our vision with you as we connected at this month’s District Meetings and at the Institute & Expo in February.
