Practice Self Care by Not Chasing Happiness
Posted on April 14, 2022 by Julie Apold
If you ask anyone what they want more than anything for themselves or their loved ones, they will likely say happiness. We all seem to chase happiness throughout our lives. But did you know that the keys to long-lasting happiness, health and longevity come from these three components: being grateful, being content, and having quality relationships.
Stop saying, “I will be happy when . . .” and start saying, “I am happy now because . . .”
Within your communities, you can practice being grateful and content by paring a Chasing Happiness poster with opportunities for people in your community to share why they are happy now by writing on the “I am happy now because poster” or sharing at the start of a meeting.
Happiness is contagious; pass it on!
