LeadingAge Minnesota has options that allow you train your staff from the comfort and convenience of your office. The popular five-part webinar series, Improving Behavioral Health Care in Older Adult Services, is available for purchase.
This series of webinars, originally broadcast in November 2017 and still relevant today, is designed to develop your staff’s understanding of behavioral health care and equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to support persons with mental illness and features Dr. John Brose of the Minneapolis Clinic of Psychology as the primary faculty. The series includes five installments, each available individually for purchase:
- Module #1 – Overview: The Continuum of Mental Illness in Older Adults/Philosophy of Care
- Module #2 – Personality Disorders
- Module #3 – Mood Disorders
- Module #4 – Chemical Health Issues Co-Occurring with Depression and Personality Disorders
- Module #5 – Appropriate Use of Medications for Treating Mental Illness
