Create Your Nursing Assistant Training Program with OnTrack’s Hands-On Support
Posted on August 13, 2019 by Jenna Kellerman
Long term care providers in Minnesota have a lot on their plates. As much as you may want to build your workforce pipeline by starting a Nursing Assistant Training Program, it may feel like more work than you can add to your plate.
Luckily, with LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation’s OnTrack Nursing Assistant Training program, organizations receive one-on-one assistance to get a program started. We offer a Getting Started Guide to help implement OnTrack and gain required MDH approvals, we offer individual consultations with our OnTrack staff, and even assistance in purchasing supplies needed for your skills lab.
Does your organization qualify to offer OnTrack? The answer is YES! Unless your organization is under a temporary Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program Loss, any provider organization can submit an application to offer OnTrack. Depending on the type of organization facilitating this program, the program operations may function differently. Partnership opportunities are available to all sites who prefer that arrangement.
To date, more than 40 organizations have received approval from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to train Nursing Assistants using the OnTrack Nursing Assistant Training curriculum. Within those organizations more than 400 students have enrolled in the program.
Find out what everyone is raving about by signing up for the MDH-approved OnTrack Nursing Assistant Training program!
