Nominations Open for Nursing Director of the Year
Posted on July 31, 2018 by Elizabeth Sether, RN, MHA, LNHA
The Minnesota Directors of Nursing Administration (MN-DONA) is now accepting nominations for the Nursing Director of the Year.
The award recognizes Directors of Nursing or Assisted Living Clinical Directors within MN-DONA, promotes excellence, inspires new nurse leaders and honors the profession.
All nominees are recognized in the presence of hundreds of their peers from around the state at the annual Fall Conference held on Oct. 10-12 at Breezy Point. If your DON is selected for this honor, you will have the opportunity to be present for the award presentation.
Nominations for the Nursing Director of the Year Award are reviewed by the MN-DONA Board of Directors and scored based on the eligibility requirements and how you respond to the award criteria questions. In addition to your nomination letter, MN-DONA asks for up to three letters of support from staff, resident families, colleagues, etc.
Award nominations are due by Aug. 17. For award eligibility, criteria and submission, see MN-DONA Nursing Director of the Year.
