Nominations Now Open for Lifetime Honorary Membership
Posted on July 24, 2018 by Nancy Garrett
LeadingAge Minnesota is now accepting nominations for the recognition of Lifetime Honorary Membership. This honor is provided to persons of distinction by election each year during our Annual Meeting & Leadership Forum in September.
According to criteria established by the LeadingAge Minnesota Nominating Committee this year, Lifetime Honorary Memberships will be bestowed on up to two individuals each year.
This honor is awarded in recognition of significant contributions to the overall success of the Association either by service as a leader at the district, committee or board level and/or by consistent service to the Association as an event volunteer or in other supportive roles.
To be eligible for this award, individuals must also be fully retired from the field of aging services and have been an active LeadingAge Minnesota member for a period of at least 10 years.
Lifetime Honorary Members pay no dues to the association, receive all association publications and may attend the Institute and other LeadingAge Minnesota signature events without payment of registration fees.
Members wishing to nominate an individual for Lifetime Honorary Membership should complete a nomination form and submit no later than Friday, Aug. 10.
