New Resource on Documentation Requirements for Waiver Services
Posted on July 30, 2019 by Jeff Bostic
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has released a short document that summarizes new statutory requirements around documentation for waiver services.
The increased requirements were passed during the 2019 legislative session to help reduce the possibility of fraud and other payment issues for those programs.
The DHS document covers both requirements that apply to all providers as well as specific requirements that were added to statutes for Adult Day and transportation services.
