New, research-informed communication strategies and recruitment tools are available for LeadingAge members to support their workforce efforts.
Opening Doors to Aging Services: Workforce
Our national partner, LeadingAge, has expanded Opening Doors to Aging Services, a national-state, long-term initiative that debuted in 2021 to raise awareness and improve perceptions of aging services.
The second phase of this initiative, Opening Doors to the Aging Services: Workforce, explores potential employees' perceptions of aging services jobs and how best to talk to them about careers in our sector.
New Recruitment Tools Now Available
Based on findings from recent focus groups and a public opinion survey with potential employees, LeadingAge has developed communications strategies, tested message themes and language, and identified the top job attributes employees seek. Turn insights into action with these new tools:
