NAMI-MN has just released its “Minnesota Healthcare Heroes: Self Care for Senior Workers During COVID-19” interactive online e-learning program.
Specifically designed for direct care staff, it offers a wealth of self-care strategies during this time of COVID-19 and in recognition of the extraordinary care they provide for older adults in a variety of settings under challenging circumstances. The interactive training is about 20 minutes long and can be viewed on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. A link to the training is included in the attached flyer Self-CareELearningSeniorWorkersFlyer_2020.08.29Final.pdf. This training was developed by NAMI Minnesota (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) in collaboration with McCubbin Training and LeadingAge Minnesota with funding from LDI (Liberty Diversified International).
