Minnesota Pipeline Dual Training Grants Now Available
Posted on March 10, 2022 by Lori Meyer
The Pipeline Dual Training Grant officially opened for application this week. Applications will be accepted through April 12 for up to $150,000 in grants to help employers build dual-training programs.
The Dual Training Grant, managed by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, is available for employers in four select industries—including health care services—interested in leveraging Dual-Training Pipeline's model of pairing on-the-job training with related instruction to generate a comprehensive platform for learning. Applicants can train workers for one of more than 75 eligible occupations of the Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline, including Certified Nursing Assistants, LPNs, RNs, or Senior Living Culinary Managers.
Employers can apply for up to $150,000 (limited to $6,000 per employee/trainee) to cover the cost of that employee's tuition, books, fees and any required tools or equipment to complete the coursework. Read more about the grant and apply at the Office of Higher Education.
Potential applicants are encouraged to attend a virtual grant writing workshop to learn more about applying for the grant.
- Thursday, March 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to noon
No registration is required. Links to join the virtual workshops are available here.
