Minnesota Medicaid Program to Require Use of the Optional State Assessment – Webinar Sept. 14

Register today for the sixth webinar in our MDS series, Minnesota Medicaid Program to Require Use of the Optional State Assessment, on Sept. 14 from 1 – 2 p.m.

Starting Oct. 1, 2023, Minnesota will require the Optional State Assessment (OSA) as CMS will no longer support RUG-IV grouper calculations for OBRA and PPS assessments. RUG-IV will continue to be the case-mix system used in Minnesota for Medicaid and private pay residents after Oct. 1.

Care center administrators, directors of nursing, Minimum Data Set (MDS) nurses, and other interested care center staff are invited to attend this webinar to learn about the OSA and steps to prepare their organizations and software vendors for this change.
