Members Share Their Stories at the Capitol
Posted on April 4, 2018 by Libbie Chapuran
LeadingAge Minnesota’s Day at the Capitol was held on Wednesday, March 28 and brought nearly 150 providers from around the state for a day of powerful advocacy for seniors and their caregivers.
After a morning of learning, members representing the continuum of care made their way to the Capitol and shared their stories about the quality care they provide and their priorities for this legislative session with their lawmakers. Members ended their meeting by inviting their lawmakers into their communities to learn more about the quality care they provide for seniors in the communities they call home.
Thank you to all who made the time to come to St. Paul for this important day of advocacy. Your voice will have an impact on the outcome of legislation passed this session.
