Join the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is hosting a webinar on how to conduct internal investigations for assisted living and home care providers. The webinar will be held on Nov. 17 from noon to 1 p.m.
MDH staff Rhylee Gilb and Matt Heffron from the State Rapid Response Team of the Health Regulation Division will educate assisted living and home care providers on how best to conduct an internal investigation and share investigation tips based on lessons learned through the MDH complaint investigation process.

Join us for LeadingAge Minnesota’s Maltreatment Management Workshop on Dec. 7 at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront Hotel. This workshop will be highly interactive and take a case from the initial report of potential maltreatment to staff through the interdisciplinary team review and care plan/individualized abuse prevention plan creation.
Care centers, assisted living, hospice, adult day services, and home and community-based services are all mandated reporters of maltreatment. Directors of nursing, nurse managers, direct care nurses, administrators, social workers, and leadership team members from these settings are encouraged to attend.
