MDH Offers Emergency Preparedness Basics Workshops

The Minnesota Department of Health Office of Emergency Preparedness has contracted with Vital Learning Strategies to offer Emergency Preparedness Basics Workshops for LTC facilities.
The training is intended for any long-term care setting, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Several sessions are scheduled with a plan to add additional virtual sessions in the future.
When/where:
- April 8th – In-person, St. Cloud (some spots still left)
- April 24, Virtual (Zoom)
- May 6, Virtual (Zoom)
Who: LTC facilities, including SNFs, LTC, and ALFs, open to all regions of Minnesota
What: A how-to for long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living on the essential strategies and insights for enhancing preparedness and response capabilities
