Mark Your Calendars: April ALNET Regional Meetings
Posted on March 27, 2018 by Elizabeth Sether, RN, MHA, LNHA
The benefits of attending our Assisted Living Nurse Leader (ALNET) regional meetings are priceless. Mark your calendars in April because we are bringing together this collegial network of nurse leaders to learn about practices that enrich lives and advance regulatory and professional standards.
ALNET provides ongoing resources, support, feedback and information to nurse leaders in assisted living and home care. Our April meetings will focus on:
- Sharing innovative practices related to care delivery and the outcomes that have been realized;
- Discussing MDH survey trends, including the reasons behind 50 percent of the top 10 correction orders; and
- Correctly processing the POLST document and its relationship to other advance directive documents.
Meetings will be held in Marshall on April 17, Duluth on April 19, Detroit Lakes on April 20 and Saint Paul on April 25. There is no fee to attend the meeting, but we do ask that you RSVP in advance.
Registration for the April meetings will open soon. Watch you email and next week’s Advantage for more details.
