The Minnesota Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) issued a formal notice this week, stating that they are nearing the hearing process for the creation of rules
governing licensure of assisted living directors, licensure requirements, course requirements, the director in residence requirements, course provider program review, and continuing education. All documents related to the hearing process, including the soon to be posted Dual Notice, the SONAR, and the draft of the rules, will be posted on the Board’s Website. If you wish to submit comments once the comment period opens, you can do so at the OAH's eComments page at https://minnesotaoah.granicusideas.com/.
The Board submitted the Rules Development Team recommended language to the Office of the Revisor on December 19, 2019. Throughout this time, various revisions have occurred, and a certified copy of the final draft has been provided to the Governor’s Office, with anticipated release by October 16, 2020. The current draft is posted on the Board’s Website.
