LeadingAge Seeks Workforce “Moon Shot”
Posted on November 7, 2018 by Jodi Boyne
Workforce continues to be the one universal challenge that LeadingAge Minnesota members face, and now you can help us figure out our “moon shot” on workforce.
During the LeadingAge national convention in Philadelphia last week, LeadingAge President and CEO Katie Smith Sloan said workforce is quickly becoming one gigantic and seemingly unsolvable math problem. But Sloan said members have the answers.
“I’m appealing to you to hear all of your stories,” Katie Smith Sloan said. “I want to hear what challenges you face and what solutions you have implemented. It doesn’t matter whether you are a large community with multiple campuses or a small organization with only a handful of staff. Your input is vitally important to our collective success.”
Members can submit their ideas at LeadingAge Workforce Moon Shot. LeadingAge plans to take the lessons learned, expand upon them and implement them until finally, we achieve our moon shot.
