LeadingAge MN Welcomes Kari Everson as New Director of Clinical Care and Nurse Consultant
Posted on April 28, 2020 by Lori Meyer
LeadingAge Minnesota is excited to announce that Kari Everson, RN, BSN, MSN, MHA, LNHA, has officially joined our team as our Director of Clinical Care and Nurse Consultant.
Kari joined us in late February to serve as a temporary clinical consultant until we could fill this position. And then a little thing called COVID turned our world and our work upside down. She jumped in with both feet—quickly becoming an indispensable member of our COVID-19 Task Force.
Kari has effectively worked with the Minnesota Department of Health and others on regulatory guidance and has provided essential technical assistance to members as they make their way through this unprecedented public health crisis. She has been a featured presenter at our weekly member huddles, webinars, Assisted Living Nurse Network (ALNET) meetings and new Clinical Coaching Rooms. Kari contributes content to our daily member messages—interpreting regulations and clinical practice for members and has developed numerous resources to ensure members have the most up-to-date clinical information they need.
Outside of COVID, members can reach out to Kari for technical assistance on a range of clinical topics including: skilled nursing and home care survey preparation and follow up; and guidance on issues related to nursing, nurse leadership, clinical practice and clinical compliance across the spectrum of older adult services.
Kari comes to LeadingAge Minnesota with over 25 years of experience in the senior care field. She has led clinical and operations teams in systems development, regulatory compliance, clinical pathways and education in senior care settings. We look forward to all the ways she will tap that rich and unique experience to benefit our members and our association. In addition, Kari is the President of Euvoia LLC—a consulting firm serving senior services providers.
Members are encouraged to reach out to Kari with questions or requests for assistance. She can be reached at 651-603-3502 or keverson@leadingagemn.org.
