LALD License Renewal Starts Soon - 30 Continuing Education Credits Required
Posted on July 18, 2024 by Bobbie Guidry
This week the Board of Executives for Long-term Services and Supports (BELTSS) issued a notice to licensees that license renewal begins Sept. 1 and will conclude Oct. 31, 2024. To renew, the licensee must have earned 30 Continuing Education Credits between Sept.1, 2022 and Aug. 31, 2024, if originally licensed on or before Oct. 2022.
Newer licensees, those licensed between Nov. 1, 2022, and Oct. 31, 2024 will require 15 CEU’s, and those licensed after Nov. 1, 2023, will not require CEU’s for this year’s license renewal.
If you need additional CEU’s, the upcoming LeadingAge Minnesota's Assisted Living Conference is an excellent opportunity to earn up to 10 credits. We also have ample webinars available in our online store. Our AL Conference is Aug.14-15, at the Brooklyn Center Heritage Center.
To register: Assisted Living Conference | LeadingAge Minnesota (leadingagemn.org).
We also have several webinars with credits in our online store. Make sure to login for member pricing: Store - Community Hub (leadingagemn.org)
For your license renewal with BELTSS, the License fees are $150. For Shared Licenses, an additional renewal fee of $150 per additional license is due upon renewal.
Tutorial Guides are available on the BELTSS website for completing a successful renewal.
