Kick-Start Your Meetings with More Joy
Posted on November 4, 2021 by Julie Apold
Do you want to bring more joy to your workplace? One way to start is the way you begin meetings.
Many people come to meetings with the mood of their last call, interaction, or task. Their attention may be on other things. Ask the meeting participants to share one Good thing that happened to them recently or since the last time you met. It can be personal or professional. Research shows that experiencing more positive emotions at work leads to better outcomes at work and in life.
Happiness is contagious; pass it on!
Visit the Self Care for Safe Care site to find all the resources and tools for bringing Three Good Things to your community in November and December. This is the second of six Self Care for Safe Care activities designed to build our resilience and increase our sense of happiness and well-being.
