Justin Hughes Named Executive Director of Vista Prairie at Copperleaf

Vista Prairie Communities (VPC), a nonprofit provider of assisted living, independent living, memory care, and care suites in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio, has named Justin Hughes the Executive Director of Vista Prairie at Copperleaf in Willmar. He assumes his role on June 12.

Justin is a veteran senior care executive director, serving in similar positions for over eight years at Luther Haven in Montevideo and Madison Healthcare Services in Madison, Minnesota. He assumes leadership of one of VPC’s most successful communities, with 55 one and two-bedroom apartments for seniors who want access to supportive services, 24 Serenity Suites for seniors diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and seven care suites, dedicated to residents who need an extra level of care.

“I am excited to join the team at Copperleaf and Vista Prairie Communities,” Justin noted in accepting the position. “I have a passion for senior living, and I am honored to have this opportunity to lead Copperleaf. I look forward to building relationships with our residents, families, and employees, as well as working with our Copperleaf team to continue building upon their success of providing exceptional care and service. I am also excited to find opportunities for Copperleaf and myself to be involved in the Willmar community.”

Justin obtained his BA degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, majoring in Healthcare Administration and Long-Term Administration. He is a Licensed Assisted Living Director.
