Joining the Minnesota Geriatrics ECHO
Posted on January 26, 2023 by Libbie Chapuran
Would you value being in a supportive cohort of Assisted Living Directors, Licensed Nursing Home Administrators, Nurse Leaders, and Medical Directors from across the state to explore challenging issues? If you're open to a candid discussion of your knowledge, questions, and experiences working with older adults, read on!
"I hope you'll join me in these interdisciplinary sessions, where we'll cover issues impacting the quality of life and operational outcomes," shares Kari Everson, who serves as the group's clinical consultant. "I encourage LeadingAge Minnesota members to join me for the 2023 Minnesota Geriatrics ECHO – a dynamic series of conversations between the clinical and executive leaders of Minnesota assisted living and skilled care settings."
These one-hour sessions are held via Zoom from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. twice each month. Supported by a team from the University of Minnesota and Hennepin Healthcare, each session is grounded in the ECHO principle of "all teach, all learn" and includes time to hear from others, reflect, share in group discussions, and take home practical clinical and technical information to inform your work.
All sessions and continuing education are free, thanks to Minnesota Northstar Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program funding. Sign-up to receive agendas at https://www.mngeriatricsecho.org/ or contact GeriatricsECHO@umn.edu with questions.
