Intensive Session for Life Safety and Emergency Preparedness at Institute – Feb. 11

Assisted Living Housing Directors, Regional Directors, Maintenance Directors, and team members in  Quality and Operations are invited to join us Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. for our Pre-Conference Intensive session QAPI Approach to Life Safety and Emergency Preparedness in Assisted Living.

Did you know that approximately 25% of survey citations in Minnesota assisted living communities are related to emergency preparedness and physical environment? Participants will discover how to address emergency preparedness and physical environment survey citations in assisted living through an interactive workshop covering key regulations, hazard assessments, fire drills, and proactive strategies to meet compliance and resident needs.

Additional Pre-Conference Intensive Sessions topics include: governance, leadership, and navigating discharges and terminations. All may be attended separately from Institute registration or added on to your Institute registration. A separate registration and fee are required to attend these sessions.

Scholarships Available

Three Institute scholarships are available to provider member organizations facing financial hardship. Institute scholarship applications are due Wednesday Jan. 8, 2025. Scholarships do not cover participation in pre-conference intensives.
