Inaugural Long-Term Care Antibiotic Stewardship Honor Roll Honorees Announced

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) recently announced the inaugural list of organizations honored for their demonstrated commitment to antibiotic stewardship. Congratulations to the following LeadingAge Minnesota members who were recognized for their efforts on this important topic:
Gold Level (Collaboration) Recognition: Organizations at this highest level are recognized for looking beyond their organization to practice antibiotic stewardship in a formal, collaborative way in addition to achieving the requirements at the bronze (commitment) and silver (action) levels. Gold Level Honorees include:
- Catholic Eldercare
- CentraCare Health-Long Prairie Care Center
- CentraCare Health-Monticello Care Center
- CentraCare Health - Paynesville Koronis Manor Care Center
- CentraCare Health-Sauk Centre Care Center
- Cuyuna Regional Medical Center

Silver Level (Action) Recognition: Organizations at this level are recognized for implementing antibiotic stewardship interventions in addition to achieving the requirements at the bronze (commitment) level. Silver Level Honorees include:
- Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute – Transitional Rehabilitation Program
- Grand Village
- Lakewood Health System Care Center
Bronze Level (Commitment) Recognition: Organizations at this level are recognized for demonstrating facility-wide commitment to antibiotic stewardship. Bronze Level Honorees include:
- Madonna Towers
