Important Update to Health & Safety Protocols for Institute Participants
Posted on December 23, 2021 by LeadingAge
We are looking forward to the 2022 Institute and delivering the in-person education and networking experience that we have not offered since the onset of COVID-19. We want everyone interested in attending Institute to do so safely. To that end, we developed health and safety protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines and association industry best practices for large events. As circumstances warrant, we may modify our requirements.
Such is the case with our medical/religious exemption provision. We have received feedback from members on the challenges created by this provision, and we heard you. As you can see in this update, we have simplified our requirements to eliminate the need for medical/religious exemption documentation for those who are not fully vaccinated—testing verification is all that is required. We do not want to create additional barriers for those who wish to attend safely.
LeadingAge Minnesota is committed to creating a safe and healthy event. As we learn more about the evolving impact of the Omicron or other variants, we may further update these protocols. We will send additional information about the vaccine/testing verification process soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Jenny Prosser.
Please take a moment to read the full, updated Health & Safety Requirements. Specific questions about the policy may be directed to Jenny Prosser.
