A special moment took place during last week’s Annual Meeting and Leadership Forum when LeadingAge Minnesota members recognized, honored and celebrated Heidi Simpson, who marks her 40th anniversary with our Association in October.
“We have been blessed with longevity in our association ranks but no one compares to our beloved Heidi Simpson Tjeltveit, who at 40 years of service is our longest tenured staff person in our history,” said Gayle Kvenvold, LeadingAge Minnesota President and CEO.

LeadingAge Minnesota members submitted messages, videos and photos expressing their gratitude and appreciation for all that Heidi has done for them during her incredible career. We received so many good wishes that not all could be included in a brief video that played at Annual Meeting, but all will be share with Heidi as a token of appreciation for all that she has done and continues to go.
“We celebrate you today not just because you have educated literally generations of leaders in our field but for the kind and giving person you are, for your unflagging enthusiasm for our mission, for your faithfulness and your deep professionalism,” said Gayle Kvenvold.
