Free Sign-up Now Open for Minnesota Geriatrics ECHO
Posted on April 27, 2022 by Kari Everson
Free sign-up for Minnesota Geriatrics ECHO is now open to LeadingAge Minnesota members.
We encourage LeadingAge Minnesota members to sign-up this week to help champion shared learning across the executive and clinical leaders of Minnesota’s assisted living and skilled care settings.
Through supportive dialogue grounded in the ECHO principle of “all teach, all learn,” this virtual community of interdisciplinary leaders shares promising clinical practices to improve operational outcomes and quality of life for Minnesota’s older adults.
What started in 2020 as a Minnesota Training Center, led by Hennepin Healthcare and the University of Minnesota in partnership with a national ECHO initiative to prevent and manage COVID-19 in over 9,000 nursing homes is being expanded thanks to the Minnesota Northstar Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program to include:
- Nursing Home Administrators
- Senior Housing Directors
- Nurse Leaders
- Medical Directors
Meetings provide an opportunity to pose questions to colleagues across the state, learn from clinical experts, share feedback on real-life scenarios, and gain real-time feedback on the big issues facing your leadership team.
Meetings occur via Zoom every other Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at no charge to LeadingAge Minnesota members. Sign-up now to attend sessions on April 26, May 10, or May 24. To receive agendas, have the meetings added to your calendar or learn, sign-up at https://echocollaborative.org/ or by contacting GeriatricsECHO@umn.edu today.
