Fall Conferences Update: Connect Conference Goes Virtual; Quality Conference Moves to Institute
Posted on September 30, 2021 by Heidi Simpson
2021 has seen its share of changes to the best-laid plans. That includes LeadingAge Minnesota events and conferences planned as in-person gatherings that were subsequently converted to virtual learning experiences in the face of COVID-19 and the spread of variants. Our fall conferences are the latest to be impacted.
Connect Conference will be Virtual
The 2021 Connect Conference will be converted to a virtual conference on Oct. 27-28.
A virtual conference offers the ability to view more sessions and earn more CEUs than an in-person event. As has been our practice with virtual conferences during the last year, sessions will be recorded and available to view on-demand through Dec. 31, allowing plenty of time to watch sessions and earn CEUs.

Quality & Patient Safety Conference and Workshop to be Included in 2022 Institute
The 2021 Quality and Patient Safety Conference and Pre-Conference Workshop scheduled for Oct. 13-14 is postponed. Instead, the conference will move to the 2022 Institute, Feb. 9-11 at RiverCentre in St. Paul. Conference sessions will be converted to a conference within the Institute format.
The Pre-Conference Workshop, Foundations of Quality Improvement, will be offered as a Pre-Conference Workshop of the 2022 Institute on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
