The first offering on February 19 brings together DHS and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to review assisted living licensure requirements and the policies and requirements of customized living (the payment program for residents receiving financial support under medical assistance waivers). MDH is the licensing and regulatory agency for Assisted Living Facilities, while DHS administers the payment programs for those eligible for financial support, as well as the Background Study processes.
The webinar announcement: Comprehensive Training on the Assisted Living License and CL Services provides additional information and the link to register. The webinar will be held from 10:00 am to noon on February 19.
Technology for Elopement and Wandering
The second webinar covers technology that may be helpful to supporting residents or clients at risk of elopement. The webinar about technology for elopement and wandering will be held February 20 at 10 am. Additional information and the registration link are now available.
