Dementia Resources Available through Minnesota Historical Society

The Minnesota Historical Society has developed several offerings for adults with dementia and their caregivers. Resources, tools and community engagement opportunities for residents and clients of care centers, assisted living, and Adult Day Service include:
SPARK! - A program offering group tours, conducted by specially trained staff who work to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants as they connect with their personal histories through sensory experiences. Tour themes change monthly and can be found on the MN Historical Society calendar.
SPARK! Also offers a Baking Lab at the Mill City Museum with a baking experience tailored to all ability levels for people living with dementia and their care partners.
House of Memories is an app designed for staff or family caregivers that helps people living with dementia explore things that resonate for them.
