Dementia Care Certificate Program Now Open for Registration

To better assist home care agency, Housing with Services/Assisted Living and care center staff meet Minnesota’s current dementia care training requirements, LeadingAge MN is offering a four-part certificate program series beginning in August and running through October 2019. There are two live webinars and one two-day workshop that focus on the critical must know topics outlined in legislation.
The certificate of completion can be earned by participating in all four parts of the program and as follows:
Webinars (registration now open)
Module #1 – Overview and Early Dementia
Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon
Faculty: Jennifer Anderson, President and CEO, Mirabelle Management, Creators of EduCare, Plymouth
Sept. 4 from 11 am – 12:30 p.m.
Faculty: Angela Lunde and Leah K. Forsberg, PhD, Program Coordinator, Mayo Clinic, Rochester
Registration Cost: $75 per connection/single site; additional person at the same site/entity is $25.
