Dan Dixon, President/CEO of Guardian Angels Senior Services and an active member of LeadingAge Minnesota, will retire from his position on April 4. Guardian Angels Senior Services has announced that Traci Larson will succeed Dan as the organization’s next leader.
Dan shared parting words with friends, team members and colleagues:
"How grateful I am for the time we have had together, working side by side carrying out the mission of caring for seniors. The work we have shared has made a significant difference in the lives of our seniors and their families. And now, after 42 years in the field, 21 of them at Guardian Angels, it is time to pass the baton to their next leader Traci Larson. I am thankful she has said yes to the call to carry on the mission of sharing Christ's love with seniors."
Traci comes to Guardian Angels with years of experience in aging services and a deep passion for seniors. With over 25 years of experience in older adult services, Traci will bring a unique combination of operational and clinical expertise, strategic thinking and people development skills to this role. Her many gifts will serve Guardian Angels well into the future.
“I am excited to honor the rich history of Guardian Angels and move the mission of providing exceptional healthcare, housing and supportive services to seniors and their families in the spirit of Christ’s love into the future,” said Traci. “At a time of increasing seniors with needs for services and a decline in workforce, we are stepping into one of the greatest opportunities this industry has experienced. I am confident, with God guiding our path, we will serve with hope and faith well into the future.”
Join us as we send our very best to Dan and Traci as they embark on the next chapter in their careers.
