Contact Information Needed for DHS Labor Market Survey
Posted on January 20, 2021 by Jeff Bostic
Under a new requirement that the Legislature created in Minnesota Statutes Section 256B.4912, subdivision 1a, home and community based services providers, including all Elderly Waiver and Disability Waiver providers, to participate in a labor market survey that will be conducted later this year.
The survey will collect information on key workforce indicators including:
- Number of direct support staff employed
- Wages and hours worked
- Benefits provided
- Retention
The survey will be sent to only a sample of providers so not all enrolled waiver providers will have to submit a response. DHS does not have an exact timeline for the survey yet, and at this point they are asking all waiver providers to fill out a Contact Information Form so that they can send the survey to someone at each organization who can answer these workforce data questions.
