Restoring Resilience, Building Up Ourselves and Others
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Henry Emmons, psychiatrist, author, and co-founder of both NaturalMentalHealth.com and JoyLab.coach, as our featured general session speaker on Thursday, Oct. 28. Dr. Emmons’s presentation, Restoring Resilience, Building Up Ourselves and Others, highlights research about science and ancient wisdom traditions to help sustain a healthy mind, mood, and heart in the face of ongoing challenges. Learn how to build and sustain resilience and gain new practices that help you bring your best self to your work in caring for others. This featured presentation is sponsored by DBS Group.
Early bird registration ends on Friday, Sept. 24, after which the fee increases by $50 per person.
The Connect Conference includes topics for Licensed Assisted Living Directors (LALDs) licensed under a legacy pathway to earn the required seven hours of continuing education within their first year of licensure. Conference details and registration are available here.
