Commissioner Jesson, Speaker Daudt Join LeadingAge Minnesota at Annual Meeting

We were pleased to have two of the state’s foremost leaders in public policy -- Lucinda Jesson, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), and Representative Kurt Daudt, Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives -- join us for a candid conversation at Annual Meeting and Leadership Forum last week. In their comments to members, both acknowledged the overhaul of the new payment system for senior care as a time for new opportunities and said long term care needs to remain at the table for all efforts related to policy, funding and quality.
