The 2018 LeadingAge Minnesota Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for candidates for the 2019 Board of Directors. Nominations are due by Friday, Aug. 10.
Please review the nomination information.

However, any nominations received will also be considered for Appointed Director positions open later in the year. Also, Districts C and F will be electing new Directors to the Board this fall.
According to LeadingAge Minnesota Bylaws, which provide for transition from Chair-Elect to Chair, the Nominating Committee will present the following slate of nominations for Officers:
- Chair – (first, one-year term), Nancy Stratman (current Chair-Elect), Senior Services Director, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center-Care Center, Crosby
- Immediate Past Chair – Mark Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer, Knute Nelson, Alexandria
The following slate of incumbents are eligible for nomination/re-nomination:
- Secretary/Treasurer – (third, one-year term), Erin Hilligan, Vice President of Operations, Ebenezer, Minneapolis
- Director-at-Large – (second, three-year term), Angela Brown, Vice President of Human Resources, Elim Care Inc., Eden Prairie
- Director-at-Large – (second, three-year term), Michael Stordahl, Administrator, Clara City Care Center, Clara City
The following positions are open this year without an incumbent eligible for re-election:

- Director-at-Large – (first, three-year term). The term will commence on Jan. 1, 2019 and run for three years with eligibility for re-election to a second three-year term.
The Nominating Committee is charged with identifying the best candidates to lead the Association into the future, balancing skills, experience, geography, gender, organizational profile, age, ethnicity and other factors that will result in a strong and diverse board.
The candidates will be presented as a slate, and LeadingAge Minnesota members will vote on the slate, at the LeadingAge Minnesota Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20 at Madden's Resort in Brainerd.
Completed nomination forms should be sent by mail or email to Nancy Garrett.
