Posted on August 17, 2023 by Libbie Chapuran
LeadingAge Minnesota’s 2023 Assisted Living Conference on Aug. 16-17 provided aging services professionals with training, timely updates, and resources needed to confidently meet state requirements and provide quality care for seniors.
In addition to great content and 10 CEUs, vendors were able to showcase helpful products and services.
Highlights
This year’s Assisted Living Conference was one of the best attended in the conference’s history. There were over:
- 350 attendees
- Two general session
- 23 concurrent sessions with 34 speakers
- 40 exhibit tables with 63 vendors
In Wednesday’s general session, keynote Nick Weestergard led participants in writing their six-word stories, and audience members shared some of their stories. Leadership starts with knowing and sharing your story and coming to work as your whole self.
On Wednesday, approximately 100 of the attendees also came to a hosted happy hour, which was an excellent opportunity to connect and relax after a day full of education.
Thank you to all who attended this year’s Assisted Living Conference. It was wonderful to connect with members from around the state.
