Assisted Living Certificate Program Open for Registration
Posted on May 1, 2018 by Heidi Simpson
LeadingAge Minnesota’s much-anticipated Assisted Living Certificate Program is open for registration. This program is a two-in-one merger of the Housing-with-Services Management and Home Care Nurse Managers certificate programs. It is designed for facility-based assisted living with separate learning tracks for the Housing with Services/Assisted Living Manager and the Home Care Nurse Manager.
Why combine these two programs? Because it’s important for both leadership positions to have the same knowledge about critical legal and operational topics to prevent violating important legal consumer protections. Most of the days are joint sessions for optimal training and shared learning. Two of the days are separate to focus on specific topics for each professional. Managers and nurses may attend individually or in teams.
Two program series (spring and fall) will be offered in 2018. Click here to view the full schedule and register here. Registration for each session and track is limited and on a first-received basis. Note: The Spring series begins May 30 and a one-time incentive of $100 off the registration fee is available (spring series only).
