Posted on April 10, 2019 by Heidi Simpson
Now, more than ever, today’s Assisted Living/Housing-with-Services Managers and Home Care nurse managers must have a solid foundation of core knowledge and skills to be successful and serve their clients and customers well. The LeadingAge Assisted Living Certificate program was specifically designed with that in mind.
Updated for each program offering to maintain its currency and relevancy, it provides a wealth of essential training to help these two critical leaders help themselves and their organizations operate legally, ethically and enhance overall organizational performance.
Topics include:
- critical must-know federal and state laws and regulations,
- successful financial management strategies,
- how to protect vulnerable adults,
- compliance with home care licensure requirements,
- improving quality,
- human resource management,
- working with clients and families, and much, much more.
Program registration includes a comprehensive resource manual and the LeadingAge Minnesota Essential Guide; Senior Housing, Housing-with-Services and Assisted Living.
Spring Series: April 25 through June 5; Late Summer/Fall series August 6 through Oct. 2. A $100 savings on registration is available for the spring series (only).
CEU note: Minnesota licensed Long-Term Care administrators needing CEUs before the April 30 licensure deadline will want to note that the program on Thursday, April 25 has been approved for 5.5 clock hours and the program on Friday, April 26 has been approved for 6 clock hours.
